DAY 2 – NAIROBI-MOUNT KENYA
Commence your safari at 09.00hrs and drive north to one of the Tree Lodges arriving in time for lunch. Throughout the day and night forest animals visit the waterhole and saltlick, ensuring you many exciting moments just all coming to you while sipping your coffee or tea at the balcony. Dinner and overnight at either of the tree hotels.

DAY 3 - MOUNT KENYA-SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Continue north to Samburu and Buffalo Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon depart for a game drive at 16.00hrs in the area. The Samburu Reserve lies in the lower curve of the dry Northern Kenya region. The main water source, the Uaso Nyiro River, feeds the riverine forest and swamps. The patches of forest and doum palm dotting the landscape, provide an ideal setting for primates, hippo and crocodiles. Elephant herds visit the rivers shallows to immerse in the cool water. Other animal life includes game only seen on the north of the equator namely, Grévy's zebra, Beisa oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. There are also gerenuk gazelle, the Somali ostrich and good chance to see the "Big Five" (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, and buffalo). Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 4 - SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives.

DAY 5 - SAMBURU - NAKURU
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National park passing through the Thomson Falls
in Nyahururu and arrive before lunch at Maili Saba Camp. After lunch depart for game drives around the Lake Nakuru National Park, which shores are pink coloured by thousands of flamingo's. The Lake Nakuru National Park was created in 1961 and lies in the park and has been given the conservation worlds Ramsar site designation. It is a shallow soda lake and most famous of the Great Rift Valley lakes with "the world's greatest ornithological spectacle". The lake is very shallow and level fluctuates by up to four meters annually. The flamingoes migrate from time to time if food gets scarce .There areas of grassland, bush, forest and rocky cliffs and there are many other animals to be viewed, white rhino, the rare Rothschilds giraffe, waterbuck, warthogs and large herds of buffalo, Thomson gazelle, leopard, hyrax, hippos and many more animals. DAY 6 - NAKURU- MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. The afternoon is spent game viewing. Masai Mara is one of the most famous reserves in Africa. This is the Kenyan section of the Serengeti plains and wildlife bounds. The Mara is 1,510 sq.km of open grasslands dotted with the distinctive flat topped acacia trees. It is watered by the tree-lined
Mara river and its tributary the Talek river. The western border of the park is spectacular Oloololo Escarpment. It is also a difficult part of the Mara to access because of the swampy grounds. There is plenty of game in the Mara. The concentrations of game is at its highest in the months of July through October when the Mara is the host to the annual migration of more than two million wildebeest. DAY 7 - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Spend the whole days in the Masai Mara with either morning and afternoon or full day game drives with picnic lunches. All meals and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.
DAY 8- MASAI MARA-NAIROBI
Depart from your lodge after breakfast and visit a Masai village before driving back to Nairobi via Narok town, with picnic lunch's en-route. Arriving end of the day and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your home bound flight.
