We only had one week in Tanzania and just two months to plan so we wanted to make sure that we could get the most out of our time there. Remsi was an invaluable help in the planning stage, giving reliable and truthful information and offering some advice where we were a bit in doubt as to what would be best to see.

The result was a well-rounded trip where we had an amazing safari, we got to trek up Kilimanjaro and we also got to spend time with real bushmen and participate in some of their activities. We even had local guides congratulating us for our choices and we need to pass half of that on to Remsi. All the people we've met from the agency were really nice and very good at their jobs. We had Peter as a guide - the man is truly something, he knows so much about the animals' behaviour so he can spot them anywhere, he also gave us a lot of information about their habits and instincts and he has such a great personality.

I feel I've learned more from him in six days than I've learned in years about wild life. We also met Peter the chef when we went to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe - we didn't expect to actually have a cook with us while we were camping but there he was and we had a few very tasty 3-course meals. As for Kilimanjaro we had Libert, a very experienced guide who also certified for medical emergencies - he even brought mountain sticks as we didn't have any. Remsi was calling our guide everyday to make sure that everything was all right and sometimes he was even requesting to speak with us to check if we needed anything. We even met him the last day and spent some quality time over dinner and from what we could tell he makes sure he meets all the clients and gets some real feed-back ASAP. No wonder all the team was chosen impeccably and we knew what to expect every step of the way. We had other 6 days in Zanzibar just after that and we wanted to organise them ourselves but Remsi asked if he could help and he gave us much better deals on the hotels that we found via Trip Advisor.

We really had the time of our lives on the trip and we are looking forward to coming back! We wish all of you to enjoy your trips at least as much as we did!

My son and I went on a 5 day safari with ANDA and had an incredible time. After researching safari companies, I found a huge range in prices. ANDA was one of the most reasonable. Some companies were charging over $1000 per person/day. That seemed crazy so when I found ANDA, I was thrilled. On the first day, we were picked up at the hotel in Arusha by our guide who greeted us with friendliness and enthusiasm. Over the 5 days, we visited spectacular sites and saw even more animals than we had hoped for. Our guide, Omary, was incredible. He knew so much about the land, the animals and the Maasai people. He was always happy to share his knowledge with us and it was clear that he is passionate about what he does. He encouraged us to ask questions and was always attentive to our needs. One of the most impressive aspects about our guide was that he just seemed to "know" where to take us to find large groups of animals. It made the safari so interesting. Definitely bring binoculars (although ANDA provided one in the jeep) and a great camera with a telephoto lens. The tented cabins we stayed in were all comfortable and had electricity (certain hours) hot water available. However, there are major differences in the accommodations. There is choice in where you stay so I recommend asking questions and communicating your needs/desires if you are picky in any way. You can go low budget, high budget or in between. The manager, Remsi was very helpful. I would recommend researching "fair" tips for your guide and the lodge staff and tipping within those guidelines. All in all we had the trip of a lifetime!!

I went on a 7 day adventure into the safaris of Tanzania: the famed Serengeti, Lake Manyara NP, Tarangire NP, Arusha NP, and the Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater. I enjoyed Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti plains the most. The landscape is breathtaking.

When looking out at the Serengeti plains, they really do seem endless. The colors from the sky, mixed with the yellow and green land is really a sight to see. One that will stay ingrained in my memory.

The Ngorongoro Crater is also worthy of the title "cradle of mankind" and a World Heritage site. Again, the view is breathtaking. And the fact that so many different animals, plants, and Maasai all live in this crater, is quite fascinating to see.

I had a great time and am very thankful to ANDA for making it all happen.
