After breakfast in your hotel, leave Nairobi 9:30hrs at and drive north to Karatina, a place widely known in Kenya for having a largest market. Spend your afternoon by visiting the local market and nearby coffee firm and factory.

Day2: Karatina – Serena Mountain Lodge/ Thegu camp
Leave Karatina at 8:00hrs toward Nyana hills, a place for tee and coffee where you will witness the local women picking tea and men pick coffee and as you trek around this evergreen land, you will be able to see Mt Kenya in a cross range since this village is bordering Mt Kenya forest. This place is one of the most place that the coronial battle took place and our guide assisted by local guides will take you around the valleys of Nyana hills where you will see the deep trenches where MAU MAU were using as a hide out. After exploring this forest, you will have an opportunity to share lunch with the locals. The common food in this region is called Mukimo/Kienyeji made of mixture of mashed boiled corns, beans/groundnuts, potatoes and forest vegetables knows as stinging nettle.
Overnight: Serena Mountain lodge or Thegu campsite
Thegu campsite is located at the shore of river Thegu in Tagwa forest and it has all common facilities except electricity while Serena Mountain lodge is one of the luxuries lodges in East African region located at the heart of Mt Kenya forest
Day3: Serena Mountain Lodge - Thegu camp – Olpejeta conservancy - Nanyuki
After breakfast your lodge or camp to Olpejeta Conservancy a sanctually for Rhino and Chimpanzee. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their treature parts like horns. Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. The famous Sweetwater Tented camp is also situated in this conservancy. This Conservancy offers a wide variety of wild animals like elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor.
After a game drive, leave Olpejeta to Nanyuki town a nearby town for lunch. This town is located at the Equator. Spend the evening trekking around Equator where some men in the Equator point will demostrate to you how the collialism shows that you are exactly at the Equator point.There are other attraction in this town like P.C.E.A NANYUKI SPINNERS & WEAVERS (A WOMEN SELF HELP PROJECT). This is a traditional industry for making wall mart, scurf’s, tablemats e.t.c using wool products . This is the best time for acclimatization. Dinner and overnight at Nanyuki Simbas Castel Hotel.

Day4: Nanyuki – Samburu Game reserve
This day you will have an early breakfast so that you can arrive in Samburu early in order to have time to visit Samburu village where you will learn more about this pastoralist tribe. Samburu Game Reserve is located in northeastern part of Kenya and has several species that considered unique to the region. All three big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, can be found here, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos and Ewaso Ngiro river contains large numbers of Nile crocodile.
Other mammals frequently seen in the park include gerenuk, warthogs, Grant\\\'s gazelle, Kirk\\\'s dik-dik, impala, waterbuck, Grevy\\\'s zebra, Beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. 350 species of bird have been recorded. These include Somali ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds, bee-eaters, marabou stork, tawny eagle, bateleur, vulturine guinea fowl, yellow-throated spur fowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm nut vulture, red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, Verreaux\\\'s eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.

Day5: Samburu Game reserve
Leave the camp or lodge early in the morning 6:30 am for morning game drive until 10:00 to search for predators that use to hunt in early morning e.g Lion, Cheeters, Leopard and stripped Hynes. After enjoying this fantastic game drive, you will be driven back to the camp or lodge for break fast. And as long as Samburu is a dry and Hotter place , you will relax in your camp or lodge until 15:30 when you will start again your evening game drive un till 18:00 when you will go back to the camp or lodge for Dinner. At daytime, many animals use to hide in dense bushes to cool them selves. In addition, this time u can walk around the nearby shopping center called Archer’s post that is nearby Umoja camp or swimming at the lodge as watch large variety of birds that use to nest near lodge due to plenty of food and water.
Day6: Samburu Game reserve – Nairobi
After Break fast, leave with a pick nick lunch to Nairobi where your tour ends.
