Day 1 – Nairobi / Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet with our representative and transfer, by safari minibus, to Amboseli Porini Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy, arriving at Porini Camp in time for lunch. After the afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk, by Masai warriors, to a village, to get an insight into the fascinating Masai culture and way of life. In the late afternoon you are invited on a game drive in 4x4 safari vehicle on the conservancy, followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Night game drive and return to camp for dinner and overnight at Porini Camp.
Day 2 – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, drive through the bush on a private track into Amboseli National Park for a full morning of game viewing. Followed by a picnic lunch in the park, after which you will return to Porini Camp. Late afternoon game drive in the Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, follone by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval, caracal, bat-eared fox, African wild cat. Dinner and overnight at Porini Camp.
Day 3 – Amboseli National Park / Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Mount Kenya
Early breakfast and depart for the airstrip driving through Amboseli. Depart with scheduled flight to Nairobi, Wilson Airport to connect on the onward flight to Nanyuki. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Porini Rhino Camp, in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp before setting off to seach rhino with your driver/guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 4 – Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Mount Kenya
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a non-profit wild life conservancy in Central Kanya. It is situated on the equator and is the largest sanctuary for Black Rhino in East Africa. The conservancy now also assists to improve local livelihoods. Today will be spent on a day game drive and walking in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Full board at Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 5 – Ol Pejeta Conservancy / Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at Porini Rhino Camp you will transfer to the airstrip in time for flight to Masai Mara. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Porini Lion Camp in time for lunch. After an afternoon siesta and tea in camp, you are invited on an afternoon game drive or escorted walk, followed by a sundowner and night drive. Dinner and overnight at Porini Lion Camp.
Day 6 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the best known and most popular reserves in the whole of Africa, and lies in the Great Rift Valley. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson's gazelle. Also regularly seen are leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles and every July the wildebeest travel nearly 1,000km from Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains to the Masai Mara. Breakfast at Porini Lion Camp before you depart on full day game drives in the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Porini Lion Camp.
Day 7 – Masai Mara Game Reserve / Nairobi
Breakfast and early morning game drive before you transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight back to Nairobi, Wilson airport.
