Arrival in Mombasa
After completing customs formalities and baggage retrieval , which always requires a lot of patience ... meet your guide ... and after the presentations you better start your vacation .. so you won't feel like you're missing out ... You'll probably start to sweat and perhaps think ... “Why have I come here today?” ....

! , Welcome to Mombasa ! !

Tsavo West National Park
With approximately 20,000 square kilometers Tsavo is the largest park in Kenya divided into 2 sections , Tsavo West and Tsavo East 8500 sq km to 11,200 sq km. We will arrive late in the evening in Kilaguni , but in time for a shower and dinner, then ... we’ll hit the sack .

Next morning we won’t set the alarm so early because the night would be sleepless shall be presumed, considering the great fatigue caused by jetlag, your new bed and sheer tiredness ... ha ha won’t sleep because you will hear for the first time the roar of the lions out of your room ......... Breakfast will be served after 08.00. The big interest in Tsavo West NP is concentrated mostly in the pools of Kilaguni and Ngulia , but the most beautiful is Mzima Springs , the source that feeds the aqueduct of the distant Mombasa. The morning will be quiet and relaxing , moving from one place to another we can see buffalo, gazelles , warthogs and hundreds of different species of birds. We will make excursions to Mzima Springs, whose crystal clear waters that gush from the volcanic rocks, are infested with hippos and crocodiles ... In the spring you can see crocodiles and hippos from an underwater station built specifically . There is nothing like visiting the Rhino Sanctuary and the Roaring Rocks , a hill of volcanic formation with many caves. The second night will not be better than the first .. because the lions certainly will not let you sleep again!
In the afternoon, departure for Amboseli , passing with an armed escort the true and ultimate Masai territory, we will stop in a small village, leaving an offering and bringing back a souvenir. Later in the evening we will arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari lodge.
Dinner , bed and retire ..

Amboseli National Park
Wake up call for everyone to 05.00 ( itìs not possible ! You we’ll feel your eyes and bones like a sumo wrestler fell from the third floor ... )
After breakfast, all on board , with a surface of 392 sq km Amboseli is not a very extended park, but here it is easier to see a multitude of wildlife. It consists of the lake Amboseli drained basin that , although occasionally fills with water during the rainy season. For the most part of the year is a dry and dusty expanse of blinding white . Here we might be lucky enough to encounter the rare black rhino and certainly many herds of elephants, including some solitary males over 70 years , with really huge fangs . All this with the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro , a vision truly unforgettable .

Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro , Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is tucked under a grove of giant acacia trees beside a natural spring which flows . Behind the lodge , to preside over the landscape, the Kilimanjaro , with its 6,000 m in height , makes this place nothing short of magnificent. Inspired by local Masai architecture, the design of the lodge is in total harmony with the environment. Each room conveys a distinct mood and is furnished with authentic African murals painted by a local artist. Here, guests are invited to plant a tree to help the reforestation of land that is likely to become sterile because of the herds of elephants that make the green trees their daily food. Hundreds of trees have been planted so far and within the lodge you can talk with a group of naturalists expert in environmental issues related to the park. The lodge has a swimming pool filled with fresh water emanating from a source of Mount Kilimanjaro . We will return to the lodge for lunch and for dinner.

Transfer to Masai Mara
Wake up early ... to be ready for departure at 07.00 The road to the Masai Mara is very long , the first 70 kilometers are a track, then three hundred kilometers of good asphalt. We will pass from Nairobi to Narok ... and directed to other 130 km of unpved road to the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Along the way we 'll certainly see the animals in constant motion in the direction of the vast grasslands of the Mara where we are going slowly, too. Formalities to enter the park , and some tip off at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and some chat : This safari lodge is truly special and beautiful and the food is divine .

Perched on the saddle of a hill, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge offers one of the most spectacular views imaginable .
They are the vast plains , the forests , the rivers that make up the Masai Mara, the most wild life sanctuary in the world. It is on this ground that the great annual migration takes place , millions of zebra, wildebeest and gazelles cross the plains to eat the fresh green grasses of Masai Mara . This is a show that everyone should attend at least once in their lifetime . The hotel has been designed to mirror a traditional Masai village or Manyatta and all the rooms are located in individual domed huts grouped in a circular way . The decor of each room is inspired by traditional Masai art and each has a private balcony with views stretching over the vast African landscape . The lodge has a swimming pool perched on the edge of the hill and the restaurant overlooks a water hole around which to gather wildlife. From this same puddle they collects the salt used for various treatments , including a wide range of relaxing massages. Set alarm comfortable ... Let's say 08.00

All day around the park , visiting the bends of the Mara River will discover huge colonies of hippos , crocodiles perfectly camouflaged as to be invisible , many lions , hyenas , giraffes, warthogs, antelopes , gazelles , topi , kudu, dik -dik , jackals , buffalo , elephants, wildebeests , impalas , zebras , baboons , vultures , ostriches , cheetahs and leopards, rare , however, is that they are very hard to find in their territory. However, we will try and with a little ' of luck and lots of patience maybe we will succeed ! For the more adventurous there is the opportunity to fly over the Mara with the balloon .... beautiful ....

In the evening after dinner talk in front of the fire and then to bed.

The alarm will be very soon , let's say around 5:30 ... after breakfast, we will dive straight into the park and if we're lucky ... maybe at that time we spot a few scenes of hunting and can take pictures at dawn , when the colors are wonderful. The late afternoon departure for Nairobi While waiting for the return flight you can shop at the traditional market of Nairobi, where you will find everything but pay attention to the price and also to handbags , pouches , watches, cameras ... In short , be careful not become their market yourself !
After customs formalities , flight to Italy .

( The route exposed is to be considered a valid trace of the trip but it is not binding for the purposes of the trail , as a function of the season , at the start of the safari will be defined depending on the weather conditions and the movement of animals )
