DAY 1: NAIROBI/LAIKIPIA
Depart Nairobi in custom-built safari vehicle for Sweetwater's Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and afternoon game drive in OL Pejeta which is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.
Dinner & overnight at Sweetwater's Tented Camp
SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP: Set in 22,000 acre wildlife sanctuary, this unique camp is a favourite with intrepid travellers looking for a tented camp experience in a well cared for animal sanctuary.
Accommodation is provided in luxuriously appointed tents, each with a thatched roof, ensuite bathroom and its own verandah with views over the waterhole. DAY 2: SWEETWATER'S / SAMBURU
Early morning game drive in the conservancy then breakfast. Depart for Samburu Game Reserve in the Northern Frontier District arriving for lunch. There will be chance for game viewing in the afternoon.
Overnight: Samburu Lodge
SAMBURU GAME LODGE
Samburu Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine riverine forest on the western bank of the beautiful Uaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya at an altitude of 860 meters above sea level. The lodge is located in a rugged landscape, against a backdrop of jagged mountains offering natural scenery of mountains and a meandering river. Samburu Lodge offers an intimate encounter with the crocodiles at the Crocodile Bar and Lounge which is open from early morning and closes when guests retire for the night.
DAY 3: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Whole day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu National Reserve which is a rugged semi-arid park is home to Elsa the Lioness of conservationists George and Joy Adamson. The national reserve also hosts the banks of Uaso Nyiro River flowing through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests that attracts a wide variety of animal and birdlife. Large herds of elephant are seen along the river's banks which are much favoured by crocodiles. Aside from the big cats like the lion, cheetah and leopard, other wild animals found in this park include buffalo, hippos, gerenuk, warthogs, reticulated giraffes, Grant's gazelle, impala, Grevy's zebra, waterbuck, and Beisa Oryx. The reserve also boasts of a rich birdlife with approximately 350 species. The sun baked landscape of Samburu is breathtaking with surrounding mountains shimmering on the horizon as temperatures rise. To the west, the sheer sided slopes of majestic OL Olokwe Mountain form perfect back drop for amazing photography.
DAY 4: SAMBURU / ABERDARES
Breakfast and depart for Aberdares arriving The Outspan Hotel for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Treetops Lodge for overnight game viewing.
Aberdares is the name of the mountain range which thrusts directly north from Nairobi for more than 160kms. Part of the range is protected as the Aberdares National Park which is awesome in its majesty and beauty. Icy rivers plunge in glorious cascades and spectacular waterfalls. The Salient which thrusts a dense forest through rich farmlands is where Treetops Lodge is situated. The forest is home to many wildlife species that include elephant, rhino, warthog, bush pig and giant forest hog, waterbuck, duiker, bongo and reedbuck.
Overnight at Treetops Lodge
Treetops Lodge is nestled deep in the forests of Aberdares National Park. This world-renowned rustic tree house is dedicated to amazing game viewing. Originally built in 1932, Treetops is famous as the place where the then Princess Elizabeth learnt of her father's death and ascended to the British Throne in 1952. Treetops lies in the path of an ancient elephant migratory route between the Aberdares Mountains and Mount Kenya and is strategically located right in front of a watering hole and salt lick. Guests can enjoy drinks in the sight of elephants, buffalo, rhinos antelopes and more from the safety of four viewing decks and a rooftop platform.
DAY 5: ABERDARES / GREAT RIFT VALLEY
Enjoy early morning tea or coffee at Treetops. Proceed to The Outspan Hotel for a delightful English style breakfast. Drive to the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Later proceed for an afternoon game drive in this world famous wildlife habitat.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake in the Great Rift Valley is the home to the greatest birdlife spectacle on earth. Millions of pink flamingo literally turn its shores pink.
Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the lake, offering a wide ecological diversity, from lakeshore, woodland, grassy plains to rocky escarpments and ridges. It has recently been enlarged to provide a sanctuary for black rhino and now has one of the largest concentrations of both black and white rhinoceros in the country. Other wildlife species to be found here include Rothschild's giraffe, waterbuck, zebra and Cape buffalo. Leopard is also frequently sighted here as Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the places where visitors have the best chances of seeing all the elusive big cats.
Dinner & overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
Sarova Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park The Lodge is cleverly laid out such that most rooms and sitting areas offer very stunning views. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. All guest rooms offer private ensuite bathrooms with shower and verandas with panoramic views of the flamingo pink-rimmed lake.
DAY 6: GREAT RIFT VALLEY / MAASAI MARA
Breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara arriving for lunch at Ilkeliani Tented Camp. After a warm welcome and delightful lunch, embark on a game drive with your driver guide in Maasai Mara which is the ancestral home to the Maasai people.
Dinner & overnight at Ilkeliani Tented Camp
Ilkeliani Tented Camp is nestled in a river glade in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The area is a favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. The camp consists of only 17 tents each with commanding views of the plains and the wildlife action throughout the day. The rolling plains across the river are teeming with wildebeest, gazelles and zebras. The camp offers an unparalleled plethora of activities and experiences from luxury tented living to bird-watching and unique insight into the Maasai culture. All tents at Ilkeliani are equipped with ensuite bathrooms with showers and running hot & cold water.
The tents are large and spacious, tastefully furnished with double, twin beds and safari chairs.
DAY 7: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - Maasai Mara is the "new eighth wonder of the natural world" and Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. It is situated in the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park and just west of the Great Rift Valley. Maasai Mara is where the word "safari" comes in to its true light, meaning and reality. Everything about Maasai Mara is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Game drives in the Mara offer breathtaking views of an extraordinary density of animals including all the big five and many varieties of plains game as well as thousands of birds of prey.

DAY 8: MAASAI MARA / NAIROBI / DEPARTURE
Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off either at your Nairobi hotel at the airport for your departure flight. End of your "Adventure in Style Safari Experience".
