Day 1: Kampala-Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast the Tour guide will drive you to Lake Mburo national park
Approximately 230km 4 hours drive on the Mbarara Kampala highway. You can either use the Nshara Gate which is 211 km 3 hrs from Kampala turn left, from Lyantonde town, from the road to the park headquarters its 20 km. Or you can use the Sanga gate by turning left Sanga Trading Centre Masaka-Mbarara road. On arrival you will visit the local communities or go horse riding. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 2: Game Drive and boat ride.
After breakfast you will go for a game drive where you will spot animals like Zebras, duikers, Impala, Bohor reedbuck, Buffaloes, eland antelope, topi, Klipspringer, the Vervet monkey, olive baboon, leopard, Hyenas, jackals, agile Rock Hyrax, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, and oribi. Birds like the White-winged Warblers, Black-billed Barbet, Crested Francolin, Brown Parrot, Red necked Spur, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove, Temminck’s Courser, Quails, Greenwood Hoopoe, Blue-napped Mouse bird, Barefaced Go-away bird, African-grey Hornbill, Nubian Woodpecker, Trilling Cisticola, Lilac-breasted Roller, Coqui Francolin, Black Bellied Bustard, Flappet larks, Rufous chested Swallow , Southern Red Bishop ,Yellow-throated Long claw, red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek, Cormorant, Black Crake, Heron, Pelicans, Fish Eagle,papyrus yellow warbler, African fin foot, saddle billed stork, brown chested wattled plover, carruther’s cisticola, tabora cisticola, and great snipe may also be spotted during the game drive and some during the boat ride. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo you may spot the rare shoebill and other bird species, you may also see animals like the hippos and the crocodiles in the water.

Day 3: Lake Mburo- Bwindi National park
After breakfast you will drive to Bwindi national park. You will have lunch enroute in Kabale town. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast the driver guide will pick you from the lodge with packed lunch and drive you to UWA park headquarters for briefing. After briefing you will go for trekking which takes about 1 to 8 hours. You will have one hour only with the gorillas. During the trekking you may spot birds like the Short-tailed Warbler, Rusty-faced woodland Warbler, Bar-tailed Trogon, Gruer’s Rush Warbler, Wilcock’s Honey-guide, Yellow-eyed black Fly-catcher, Kivu Ground Thrush, Dusky Crimson Wing, White-tailed Blue Monarch, African Green Broadbill, Shelley’s Crimsonwing , Handsome Francolin, Black-billed Turaco, African Broadbill; Black and Cinnamon-chested Bee-eaters, Western Green Tinkerbird, Purple-breasted, Blue-headed and Regal Sunbirds among others animals like the black fronted duikers, South African porcupines, golden monkey, giant forest hog, bushbuck, buffalo, bush pigs, buffaloes, elephants, jackals, Black and white colobus monkey, chimpanzee, civet, clawless otter, genet and many species of bats and rondents can be seen too since the forest is a home to various birds and animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 5: Transfer from Bwindi National Park to Kampala
After breakfast the driver will pick you from the lodge after checking out and drive you will back to Kampala. You may stop at the Igongo cultural centre for lunch and visiting the museum, make another stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for photography. Proceed to Kampala
